What is Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness?
We believe with proper treatment, those suffering from a mental illness can lead full and rich lives. Our purpose is to empower those suffering from mental illness, so that they may thrive. Lighthouse is the designated Community Mental Health Center for 9 counties in Southern Oklahoma ( Bryan, Carter, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Ponotoc, Marshall, Murray, and Seminole counties) with 7 outpatient clinics (Ada, Ardmore, Durant, Lindsay, Pauls Valley, Seminole, and Tishomingo).
Our Core Values are Hope, Dedication, & Community.
- Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes. We have hope for every person that walks through our door. We are certain that recovery from trauma, mental illness, and addiction happens every day. This belief leads to an unending hope for the people we serve, ourselves and our communities.
- Dedication is the quality of being committed to a purpose. We demonstrate dedication through perseverance, persistence, and integrity. We are committed to empowering the people we serve, ourselves and our community.
- Community means that relationships are essential. We are committed to the greater good through connections, partnerships, and teamwork. Through community, we have the opportunity to grow, recover and heal. Our journeys are unique but we are not alone and through community we overcome.
